Michigan Paranormal Cons and Fests You'll Want to Attend in 2024

I’ve been researching and looking for the best Michigan paranormal conventions worth attending this year. So far, I’ve found six across the state, including the Upper Peninsula. As I find more, I’ll continue to add them to this list so make sure to bookmark or pin to Pinterest to refer to again.

AUGUST

Michigan Paranormal Convention – Sault Ste Marie

This is my favorite paranormal event and one I try to attend every year. Michigan Paracon brings the biggest names in the paranormal industry Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This year’s event is August 22 and 24, 2024 in Sault Ste. Marie’s Kewadin Casino’s DreamMakers Theater. Experts and television stars will be on hand to cover such topics as paranormal investigating, psychic powers, demonology, and UFOlogy. See the biggest names speak on today’s hottest topic, the paranormal. Tickets start at $95.

SEPTEMBER

Bigfoot & Brews – Dowagiac

Held minutes from the first sighting of The Dewey Lake Monster in June of 1964.Bigfoot & Brews is held outdoors under a large permanent tent at Sister Lakes Brewing Company on September 14th. Tickets start at $45.

Michigan UFO Contact – Houghton Lake

Michigan UFO Contact has been a favorite event in lower Michigan since 2018 with each year getting a little bigger and better and 2024 will be no exception! Every single year we get reports of sightings over the lake while the event is happening, of course this always adds to the excitement. Tickets start at $70.

OCTOBER

Bigfoot Bash – Oscoda

The ultimate gathering for enthusiasts of Bigfoot and other related phenomena. This event brings together leading researchers, experts, and enthusiasts to share their knowledge and experiences of the elusive Bigfoot. Dive deep into the world of this enigmatic creature, explore its history, behavior, and the latest research and theories surrounding it. Tickets start at $40.

Mid-Michigan Paranormal Convention – Mt Pleasant

Two days packed with speakers, presenters, demonstrators, authors, artists, paranormal celebrities and 100+ vendors. The event is held at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort at the end of October. Tickets start at $55.

NOVEMBER

Old Mill Parafest – Dundee

The Old Mill ParaFest will have speakers, vendors, food, drinks and great times all day! We offer convention and VIP tickets, the convention allows you access to the event, the VIP allows access to the VIP gathering after with most speakers, our hosts, music, drinks/refreshments (varies mainly finger foods, easy to eat stuff). Event will be held November 9th. Tickets start at $45.
